Arctomecon merriamii is a rarer species of white poppy flowers known by several common names, including desert bearpoppy, white bearpoppy, and great bearclaw poppy. It is native to the desert regions of the Southwest US.

The urban expansion of the Las Vegas area unfortunately resulted in the elimination of entire sub species.

Tanacetum Vulgare, or common tansy, has yellow flower heads that are comprised of daisy-like disk florets and measure up to 0.5 inch (1.2 cm) wide. Within the flower head there may be as many as 100 individual perfect, densely clustered florets in flat-topped terminal inflorescences. The common tansy may produce more than 8 flower heads/stem and between 20 and 200 flower heads/plant.

This piece was created expressly for the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art to be sold in their 2013 benefit gala.

Calochortus Nuttallii is also known as Sego Lily and is native to Western US; it is also the state flower of Utah. The Sego Lily has 1 to 4 flowers, each with 3 white petals 4 cm long (and 3 sepals) which are tinged with lilac or occasionally magenta, and have a purplish band radiating from the yellow base.
